Telecom stocks boost market - 03/09/10
A rally in telecommunications stocks pushed the market higher on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 12 points, or 0.1%, to 10,564. Broadcasting stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was down 4.77, or 1.9%, to 243.915. Some of that was because a recent run-up for Westwood One has been followed by the stock retreating.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.782, or 1.1%, to 157.763.
