Another Senate Judiciary rainout
Patrick Leahy (D-VT) had two items of interest on his agenda during today’s Senate Judiciary business meeting, and he finally had a quorum. But he also had a hotter topic than the reporters shield or PRA – the Patriot Act – and that issues consumed all of the committee’s attention. Both broadcast bills were officially held over, and as yet the Committee’s next business meeting is not on the schedule.
