NTIA chief resigns

John Kneuer, chief of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will resign this month to pursue new opportunities, agency spokesman Todd Sedmak announced Friday. Appointed in May 2006 by President Bush, Kneuer was charged with ensuring a smooth DTV transition-something that has been on Capitol Hill's radar screen as of late.
