- Brian Watson has been named VP/Station Manager for CBS O&Os WWJ-TV & WKBD-TV in Detroit.
He succeeds Tom Canedo, who is returning to CBS-owned CW affiliate WUPA-TV in Atlanta as President/GM.Watson joined CBS Television in Detroit in 2012 as VP/Director of Sales. Canedo also joined WWJ & WKBD in 2012, and before that spent 13 years at WUPA.
Tim Bennett, WUPA’s Station Manager and VP/Sales Manager for CBS Television Stations’ National Spot Sales in Atlanta, will continue in both roles, working closely with Canedo.
