MFMMFM – The Media Financial Management Association, is accepting nominations for its 2015 “People to Watch” program, which recognizes emerging industry trailblazers whose financial leadership will be instrumental in creating change within the media industry in the coming year.

Nominees – and/or their nominators – do not need to be a member of either the Media Financial Management Association (MFM) or its BCCA subsidiary in order to participate. Nominators are also welcome to submit multiple nominations for the honor.

Nominees should:

·         Be a member of the media financial community, with a focus on: radio, broadcast TV, cable networks, multichannel/telecommunications platforms, newspapers or digital media; and

·         Have a mission or responsibility that suggests they will be instrumental in creating change within the media and financial industries over the next year.

The deadline for “People to Watch” nominations is July 15, 2014; a nomination form may be found on MFM’s website.

“Because so much of their work is behind the scenes, the contributions of our industry’s financial managers often go unrecognized, even within their own organizations. Meanwhile, their efforts are increasingly at the heart of a company’s future success. Our ‘People to Watch’ program is designed to provide the colleagues and employers of these up and coming financial leaders a chance to give them the industry-wide recognition they deserve,” said Mary M. Collins, President & CEO of MFM and BCCA.

The editorial board for MFM’s The Financial Manager (“TFM”) magazine will select the 2015 “People to Watch” honorees and their stories will be featured in the publication’s January-February 2015 issue.
