For any sense of a Democracy to survive, government transparency and accountability is vital.
Indeed, without transparency, there is no accountability … and no check of misguided abuses of power and faith in government leadership rapidly evaporates.
The experiences of one Iowa small-market broadcast licensee seen in the recent past are a classic example — among many — of Federal agencies that have allowed control to be assumed by external parties for their benefit, rather than for the common good of the American people.
