Will the Federal Reserve pump as much money into the economy as it has indicated, or will it ease back on the throttle? As traders pondered that question on Monday, stocks moved this way and that, resulting in a mixed close. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up nine points, or 0.1%, at 11,202, but both the S&P 500 and nasdaq Composite were lower for the day. Broadcasting stocks were also mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.265, or 0.8%, at 280.143.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.517, or 0.8%, at 186.716.
