Google thrilled Wall Street with its earnings report and gave a boost to the tech sector, pushing the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 higher. But traders weren’t so pleased with GE, which is one of the 30 components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. So, the DJIA was down 32 points, or 0.3%, to 11,063. Broadcasting stocks were also mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 4.708, or 1.7%, to 284.857.
The TVBR Television Index was down 0.452, or 0.2%, to 204.343.
