Mixed Monday for Media Stocks

The week started off with ups and downs for media issues on Wall Street today, shaking off fears of terrorism as a blast near the busy Port Authority Bus Terminal to the west of Times Square temporarily halted commuter lines and sent Subway passengers on to the next station right in the middle of the morning trip to work.

Entercom rebounded after a string of small dips by climbing 5 cents, to $10.95.

Meanwhile, Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) recouped some of its steep Friday losses with a 9 cent gain, to $0.22.

Meanwhile, all eyes are once again on Cumulus Media, trading as “CMLSQ” following its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in a New York court. Shares were down by a penny to $0.09.
