MLB and FBN in talent and news sharing deal

MLB Network and Fox Business Network (FBN) announced a talent and news-sharing partnership to bring viewers baseball and market updates over the course of Major League Baseball’s spring training.


From now through April 1st on weekdays, MLB Network and FBN will exchange a daily update, providing viewers on each network access to all the action that takes place both on Wall Street and on the fields at Spring Training.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing 30 Clubs in 30 Days and our comprehensive baseball coverage to the Fox Business Network audience,” said Tony Petitti, President and CEO of MLB Network.

FBN’s “Imus in the Morning” will feature a 60-second Spring Training update between 6:00 – 8:00 am ET that will preview that day’s episode of “30 Clubs in 30 Days,” MLB Network’s Spring Training series that debuts tonight at 5:00 pm ET.  MLB Network will air a daily “Market Update” during Spring Training games and its “MLB Tonight” studio show at 6:00 pm ET recapping the market moves of the day.

 “We are excited to partner with MLB Network and provide content that is mutually beneficial to our viewers,” said Fox Executive Vice President Kevin Magee.

MLB Network studio hosts Matt Vasgersian, Victor Rojas, Greg Amsinger and Matt Yallof will anchor the MLB updates on FBN, while David Asman will anchor the market reports on MLB Network.
