M&M grabs a handful of Texas radio stations

Munbilla Broadcasting Properties is the seller, and M&M Broadcaster Ltd. the buyer of a package of radio stations that lie to the west of three different Texas Arbitron markets. The package includes an AM and three FMs.

Munbilla, headed by B. Shane Fox, will pick up $1.1M cash in exchange for the stations. M&M is headed by Gary L. Moss, which already owns stations in the state, none of which overlap any of the coming additions to his portfolio.

The properties are strung out along north-south-running Rt. 281. Anchoring the set on the southern end are KRHC-AM and KBEY-FM, located northwest of Austin and SW of Temple TX.

In the middle is KHLE-FM Kempner TX, west of Temple, and also somewhat to the east of Rt. 281.

To the north is KHHG-FM Hamilton TX, west of Waco TX.

Bill Whitley of Media Services Group handled brokerage chores.
