ReCapping the CBS – Beasley stations trade: CBS is now #1 radio 6+ in #8 PHILADELPHIA with 2 FM’s and an 8.2 share. Add that to the current CBS O&O cluster of 3 FMs and 2AMs, to total 24.3 topping iHeartMedia 22.3 by 2 points. CBS enters #12 MIAMI with two FM’s, an AM and an 8.1 share to combine with TV interests as Miami radio ranks Cox 21.2, iHeart 17.5, Univision 13.8 and Lincoln Financial 11.0. In return, Beasley enters #18 TAMPA with an instant #3 cluster – 5 FMs, 1 AM and an 18.8 share behind iHeart 29.1 and #1 Cox 35.8. Beasley hits a “walk-on home run” getting the #1 cluster in #24 CHARLOTTE: 5 FMs – including the market’s #1 & #2 FMs and a pair of AMs (one PARKING iconic WBCN calls) for a big 31.8 share. iHeart trails 27.6, RadioOne 8.9 and Greater Media 6.1.
