NBC Friday with 'Dateline' No. 1 in most demos

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Who Do You Think You Are” is currently averaging a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall.  Pending updates, “Who Do You Think You Are” is at its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results of the summer to date, up week-to-week by 33 percent in 18-49 rating (0.8 vs. 0.6) and 14 percent in total viewers (3.4 million vs. 3.0 million). 


From 9-11 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” is currently averaging a 1.2/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall. Pending updates, “Dateline” is reporting its highest 18-49 rating for a Friday edition in six weeks (since July 23) and its biggest overall audience in 11 weeks (since June 18).  Pending updates, “Dateline” is up week to week by 33 percent in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9) and 20 percent in total viewers (5.3 million vs. 4.4 million).  “Dateline” is currently tied for #1 in the time period in adults 18-49 and is #1 outright in adults 25-54.
 
From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Dateline” increased its 18-49 rating by 40 percent (to a 1.4 from a 1.0) and its overall viewership by 37 percent or 1.6 million viewers overall (to 6.0 million from 4.4 million). 

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., “Dateline” is currently #1 among the major networks in most key categories, including adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers (pending updates).
