NBC happy with Fashion star

NBCTuesday Results:


  • From 9:30-11 p.m. ET, the premiere of      “Fashion Star” (1.6/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) ranked      #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49.       For its last full hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, “Fashion Star”      finished #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults      25-54 and all key adult-female demos.
  • “Fashion Star” avoided any      significant ratings fall-off from half-hour to half-hour, with this track      from 9:30 to 11 p.m.: 1.6, 1.6, 1.5.
  • From 8-9:30 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 13” (2.0/5 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers      overall)      is currently tied      for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 (pending updates) and is #1 outright in women 18-49 and women      25-54.  “The      Biggest Loser 13” grew from its first half-hour to its third by 22      percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 1.8).
  • Despite the arrival of Daylight Saving Time      and a shortened 90-minute telecast this week, “Biggest Loser”      matched its 18-49 rating of the last two weeks (2.0) and grew week to week in total viewers by 5 percent (to 6.346 million from 6.033      million) to achieve a three-week high by that measure.
  • For the night, NBC is currently tied with      CBS and Fox for #1 in adults 18-49 (1.8 rating each) and is #1 outright in women 18-49 and      women 25-54.       Note that while      CBS’s lineup was in rebroadcast, all other competition on ABC and Fox      besides ABC’s “Last Man Standing” was original.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

  • In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household      results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.6/7; CBS’s      “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.2/6; and ABC’s combo of      “Nightline,” 3.1/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,”      1.5/4.
  • In the 25 markets with Local People Meters,      adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4;      “Late Show,” 0.5/2; “Nightline,” 0.9/4; and      “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.4/2.
  • At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy      Fallon” (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat      CBS’s first-run “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”      (1.1/4).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late      Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped “Late Late      Show” (0.3/2).
  • At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson      Daly” averaged a 0.8/3 with an encore in metered-market households      and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters
