It will be a first-of-its kind golf, travel and adventure show produced and hosted by NBC Sports’ Mark Rolfing this 3/27 at 2 p.m. ET immediately prior to the network’s third-round coverage of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Continental Airlines is the presenting sponsor of Global Golf Adventure, which is also sponsored by FedEx, Michelin and The Villages.

The world premiere will feature the Hawaiian paradise of Maui and an interview with LPGA standout and Hawaii native Michelle Wie. The Wailea Resort will be home base for Rolfing and the fast paced 30-minute program, which will offer a wide variety of activities and adventures; including a trip to the island of Lana’i, Laird Hamilton tow-in surfing a monster wave on Maui’s North Shore, and NBC Sports’ Dottie Pepper offering a tip on how you can improve your own golf game while watching televised golf tournaments.

For Global Golf Adventure, Rolfing will travel to exciting locations worldwide, showcasing unique global golf and travel destinations.  Four 30-minute programs will air prior to NBC’s live third round golf tournament coverage and will include interviews with pro golfers and notable personalities familiar with the episode’s location, as well as instructional segments and travel adventures.  The second telecast will showcase Bermuda and 2009 British Open Champion Stewart Cink and will air prior to the network’s coverage of The Players Championships on 5/8.
