NBC usual Thursday; ‘The Office’ was the standout

From 8-8:30 p.m. ET, “Community” averaged a 1.9/7 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Community” is currently #1 among the major networks in adults 18-34 (tie) and men 18-34.


From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, “Parks and Recreation” (2.0/6 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) is currently matching its highest 18-49 rating since March 11 and attracting its biggest overall audience since March 25.  Week to week, “Parks and Recreation” is up 5 percent in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.9) and 6 percent in total viewers (4.3 million vs. 4.0 million).  In the time period, “Parks and Recreation” is #1 among the major networks in men 18-34.  “Parks and Recreation” built on its 18-49 lead-in by 5 percent and has now retained 95 percent or more of its lead-in with 22 of 23 originals this season.   

At 9 p.m. ET, “The Office” (3.4/10 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) is #2 in the time period in adults 18-49 and is #1 among the major networks in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos ahead of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” CBS’s “CSI” and Fox’s “Fringe.” 

At 9:31 p.m. ET, “30 Rock” delivered a 2.5/7 in 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “30 Rock” currently ranks #1 among the major networks in men 18-49 (tie) and men 18-34 and #2 among the major networks in adults 18-34 and women 18-34, airing against the concluding half-hours of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” CBS’s “CSI” and Fox’s “Fringe.” 

At 10 p.m., “The Marriage Ref” averaged a 1.6/5 in 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:
In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.8/7; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 3.1/8; and ABC’s “Nightline,” 3.4/8; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.6/5. 

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 1.0/4; “Late Show,” 0.8/4; “Nightline,” 1.4/5; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.7/4.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.3/5 in metered-market households) trailed CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.6/5).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49) tied “Late Late Show” (0.5/3).

At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
