NBC Wed. gets good late night lead-in

NBCAccording to the fast official ratings, the 11:06-11:18 portion of last night’s telecast averaged a 6.1 in adults 18-49 and the 11:18-11:30 portion averaged a 5.1, meaning despite the late hour and the very large lead-in, the second half of the preview retained 84% of the first half.


Wednesday Results:

·       NBC’s Wednesday 11:06-11:30 p.m. ET preview of “Go On” following primetime Olympic coverage generated strong sampling for the new series, averaging a 5.6 rating in adults 18-49 and 16.1 million viewers overall, according to “fast official” ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

·       While the special telecast gave the broad Olympic audience an opportunity to sample the new NBC comedy, last night’s post-primetime preview of “Go On” aired without commercials and will not be measured in official national Nielsen reports and will not be included in averages for the night, week or season.
