NBC's 'Law & Order: Los Angeles' finishes close second

At 8 p.m. ET, “Undercovers” (1.5/5 in adults 18-49, 5,9 million viewers overall) is currently showing a week-to-week increase of 7 percent in 18-49 rating (1.5 vs. 1.4).  From its first half-hour to its second, “Undercovers” increased by 7 percent in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.4) and by 27 percent in men 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.1).


At 9 p.m. ET, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2.6/7 in adults 18-49, 8.5 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (2.6 vs. 2.3) and 5 percent in total viewers (8.518 vs. 8.127 million).  From its first half-hour to its second, “SVU” increased by 17 percent in adult 18-49 rating (to a 2.8 from a 2.4) and 16 percent or 1.3 million persons in total viewers (9.2 million vs. 7.9 million).  “Law & Order: SVU” grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key ratings category.  Versus NBC’s slot averages last season, “Law & Order: SVU” is up 44 percent in adult 18-49 rating (2.6 vs. 1.8) and up 36 percent or 2.2 million persons in total viewers (8.518 million vs. 6.278 million).
 
At 10 p.m., “Law & Order: Los Angeles” (2.4/7 in adults 18-49, 8.1 million viewers overall) jumped week to week by 26 percent in 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. 1.9) and by 11 percent in total viewers (8.053 million vs. 7.262 million).  “Law & Order: LA” also tied its 18-49 rating of two weeks ago, matching the second-best rating it’s delivered in its four weeks on the air.  “Law & Order: LA” is the hour’s #1 non-sports telecast on ABC, CBS or NBC in adults 18-49 and other key categories.

“Law & Order: Los Angeles” retained 92 percent of its lead-in from “SVU” in adults 18-49, up from last week’s 83 percent.  Versus NBC’s slot averages last season, “Law & Order: LA” is up 26 percent in adult 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. 1.9) and up 25 percent or 1.6 million persons in total viewers (8.053 million vs. 6.456 million). 

From its first half-hour to its second, “Law & Order: Los Angeles” maintained its 18-49 rating while the dramas on ABC and CBS declined by 0.2 of a rating point each).
