NBC's Matt Lauer Reports: George W. Bush, finished fourth

At 8 p.m. ET, the NBC News telecast “Matt Lauer Reports,” featuring Lauer’s interview of former President George W. Bush, averaged 1.7 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 7.0 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Matt Lauer Reports” grew by 6 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.7) and by 13 percent in men 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.6).  


At 9 p.m. ET, “The Event” delivered a 1.7/4 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall.  Through the first five weeks of the season, “The Event” has added an average 34 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported “live plus same day” rating to its “live plus seven day” figure, the biggest percentage increase for any new series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW. 

At 10 p.m. ET, “Chase” averaged a 1.2/3 in adults 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall.
