From 7-9 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” averaged a 1.2/3 in 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Dateline” grew by 143 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 0.7) and by 74 or 3.4 million persons in total viewers (to 8.1 million from 4.7 million).
Versus its results on the same night last year, “Dateline NBC” is up 9 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.1) and 12 percent in total viewers (6.216 million vs. 5.529 million).
From 9-11 p.m. ET, a preview of the new Thursday drama “The Firm” delivered a 1.4/3 in 18-49 and 6.3 million viewers overall. For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., “The Firm” tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright ahead of ABC’s “Pan Am” in total viewers, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos.
