NBC's 'The Sing-Off' rings the tone to a top finish

From 8-10 p.m. ET, the finale of “The Sing Off” (2.7 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49, 8.5 million viewers overall) led NBC to a nightlong victory in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW, ranking as the #1 program of the night on those networks.  “The Sing Off” was #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49, total viewers and most other key categories.


Versus the comparable year-ago “Sing Off” finale, last night’s telecast was up by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (2.7 vs. 2.3) and by 17 percent or 1.2 million persons in total viewers (8.510 million vs. 7.277 million).  Versus NBC’s time-period average for last season, last night’s “Sing Off” was up 42 percent in 18-49 rating (2.7 vs. 1.9, non-sports “live plus same day”) and 57 percent or 3.1 million persons in total viewers (8.510 million vs. 5.425 million). 

At 10:01 p.m. ET, a preview telecast of “Perfect Couples” averaged a 1.4/4 in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Perfect Couples” is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and women 18-34. 
At 10:31 p.m. ET, an rebroadcast of “The Office” delivered a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.
