‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ score across-the-board wins for the July 19-23 Late-Night week. Jay beast all cable and broadcast rivals in 18-49 and total viewers; tops the CBS and ABC competition in every key category.   Jimmy Fallon delivers bigger audiences than ‘Late Late Show’ and ‘Kimmel’ in all key categories – Adults, Men and Women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
 
NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” has won the week of July 19-23 in adults 18-49 and total viewers over all cable and broadcast competition, delivering bigger audiences than CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” and ABC’s combination of “Nightline” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers.  Note that “Late Show” and “Kimmel” were encores on Friday.
 
At 12:35 a.m. ET, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” attracted bigger audiences than CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and ABC’s “Kimmel” in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.  In adults 18-49, Jimmy’s audience was 24 percent bigger than “Late Late Show’s” (675,000 vs. 596,000) and in adults 18-34, Jimmy’s margin of victory was 37 percent (272,000 vs. 198,000).
 
To date, Jay Leno has ranked #1 in adult 18-49 rating on 94 of 100 nights versus “Late Show” (including ties) since returning as host of “Tonight” on March 1 (excluding the week of Wimbledon delays).  In total viewers, Jay has ranked #1 outright on 93 of 100 nights.  Neither Jay nor Jimmy has lost a week in 18-49 to the CBS competition since Jay’s return in March (excluding Wimbledon week).
 
For the week of July 19-23, Jay’s average 1.179 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman’s 1.023 million; in total viewers, Jay’s audience of 3.834 million persons beat Letterman’s 3.194 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay’s 394,000 topped Letterman’s 343,000.  At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon’s 675,000 adults 18-49 for the week topped Ferguson’s 544,000; in total viewers, Jimmy’s 1.540 million led Ferguson’s 1.467 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy’s 272,000 tied Ferguson’s 198,000.
