Nexstar Media Group shares were by 1.7% in mid-afternoon trading on Friday.
At the same time, TEGNA shares were up 1.5%, while iHeartMedia was down 11.8%, to $1.93, on word that it is having difficulty with its complex series of private offers to its bondholders.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq Composite were both in positive territory, as well.
