ComcastDenver-based Comcast Media Center (CMC) says NHL Network is using its Advertising Distribution Network (ADN) to deliver promotional spot advertising to affiliates.  ADN is a web-based platform that delivers broadcast-ready spot advertising directly to cable and broadcast marketing and ad sales departments for editing or playback on local ad insertion systems.

ADN currently delivers advertising and cross-channel promotions for more than 220 television networks and advertising organizations.   The cloud-based service is utilized by broadcasters and cable systems, including those operated by 16 of the country’s largest cable MSOs.

The service distributes close to 3,000 ready-to-air spot commercials in HD and SD formats each month.

Launched in 2007, ADN provides programmers and cable operators with a web-based centralized portal to manage and track promotion and advertisement distribution.  ADN’s entire spot-delivery process is automated, including receipt, notification, tracking, previewing, reformatting and delivery.  ADN affiliate users  include nearly all cable MSOs represented by NCC Media, an advertising sales firm, which reaches an estimated 98% of all multi-channel homes.
