Nielsen and Bubba the Love Sponge are headed toward mediation.
But that doesn’t mean their case won’t go to trial.
According to a court filing, F. Dennis Alvarez of Tampa has been selected to help the parties mediate their dueling lawsuits.
They are to meet with him July 5.
Nielsen sued Bubba for $1 million last October for alleged ratings tampering; he countersued.
A trial is still set for January 2017.
