Over the past several years, we have seen a large number of stations in the commercial portion of the FM band and on the AM band go to non-profit operators. But KBIJ-FM Guymon OK is one example of a station travelling in the opposite direction.

The seller is Grace Community Church of Amarillo, headed by William Gehm.

The buyer is OMI Oilfield Investments LLC, headed by Oralia T. Cowan.

The price is pretty good for a station far from any rated market. OMI will pay $421K cash for the station.

The station is a Class C1 on 99.5 MHz with 100 kW @ 269’. It’s located on the panhandle portion of Oklahoma.
