Petry Television signs KUBE-TV Houston

Petry Television KUBE-TV/DT, (formerly known as KAZH-TV), an independent station serving Houston, the nation’s 10th largest television market, per Nielsen rankings for 2010-2011. The station is owned by TTBG, LLC and managed by Titan Broadcast Management. Petry is a leading ad sales rep firm serving more than 150 television stations in 35 states.


The announcement was made by Val Napolitano, President and CEO of Petry Television, and Janet Schoff, Vice President, Sales of Titan Broadcast Management.

The station was founded as KLTJ in 1987, going on the air on analog channel 57 in 1988. It became KRTW in 1989, KVVV in 1994, KAZH in 2000 and will change its call letters to KUBE-TV on September 27 when it switches over from Spanish to English programming. KUBE-TV broadcasts its digital signal on UHF channel 41. 

It is carried on the Comcast cable system, DirecTV and DISH.
