There will be new management at non-com WMVY-FM Edgartown MA, as Public Media Capital exec Marc Hand gifts the company to a new licensee with a similar name as the old.
The station is located on the storied island or Martha’s Vineyard.
The old licensee is Friends of mvyradio LLC. The new will be Friends of mvyradio Inc. The new licensee is headed by Joseph V. Gallagher III
Hand’s organization is known as perhaps the leading brokerage specializing in secular noncommercial properties.
The station uses an AAA format. It’s a Class A on 88.7 MHz with 580 W @ 272’.
