According to Arbitron, Portland, OR is the 23rd largest radio market with a population of 2,106,200. According to Media Monitors, the #1 radio advertiser in that market was Geico with 687 spots. Progressive was #2 airing 661 ads, while Sleep Country USA was #3 with 610 spots. McDonald’s was #4 with 576 commercials and Fred Meyer was #5 running 545 spots. In at #6 was Weston  Kia with 532 spots, while Shane Company was #7 airing 525 announcements. Safelite Autoglass was #8 with 252 spots as well, and coming in #9 was Car Toys with 485 ads. Rasmussen BMW Mini was #10 with 477 spots.


In the category of Automotive Pars & Services SAFELITE AUTOGLASS comes in #1 with 30,630 spots for the week. AUTOZONE was #2 with 21,849 spots, while MIDAS connected at #3 with 9,952 ads. ADVANCE AUTO PARTS was #4 with 4,186 commercials and JUST BRAKES stopped at #5 with 2,853 spots. JIFFY LUBE slid into #6 with 1,701 spots and MONROE shocked the country from #11 up to #7 with 1,566 spots, while QUICK LANE moved from #13 to #8 with 1,563 spots. NAPA dropped from #4 to #9 running 1,395 spots and TIRE DISCOUNTERS was #10 running 1,050 spots.

NATIONAL STATISTICS
On the National front, GEICO maintains the #1 position with 48,813 spots. SAFELITE AUTOGLASS jumps from #3 to #2 with 30,630 spots. THE HOME DEPOT was #3 with 26,449 ads, while MCDONALD’S was #4 with 25,344 commercials. WAL-MART was #5, up from #11, with 24,481 spots.
