President Barack Obama: Voice talent (audio)

Obama for Kendrick:

Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-FL) is on the wrong end of a three way battle for one of Florida’s seats in the US Senate, trailing Republican Marco Rubio and independent Gov. Charlie Crist. He’s banking on new radio ads featuring the vocal stylings of Barack Obama to improve his prospects.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the ad featuring Obama will air throughout the state. Meeks is also expected to get help from former President Bill Clinton.

From the Sentinel, here is the text of Obama’s message: “Kendrick’s been a powerful voice for Floridians: standing up to special interests, to hold Wall Street accountable, fighting the insurance industry to make sure health care isn’t denied to our children because of a preexisting condition, working to eliminate subsidies to banks so young people can afford a college education, and Kendrick strongly opposes extending tax breaks for the wealthy and has worked tirelessly to expand the middle class and support small businesses.”

RBR-TVBR observation: In a normal year, the presence of a Republican candidate (Rubio) and another candidate who is a former Republican (Crist) would tend to tilt the battle to the Democrat, no matter who it is. But this is not a normal year.
