A supply-side platform for automated television advertising has selected a programmatic pro to oversee its own planning and execution of “the company’s product vision.”

Oscar Rondon is joining Videa, as VP/Product.

A seasoned business leader in television advertising, Rondon comes on board after serving as Senior Director of TV strategy at TubeMogul. There, he helped establish the company’s programmatic TV solutions and was responsible for identifying market opportunities, crafting the business plan, and defining and launching the first version of their demand-side platform.

Before that, Rondon served as VP/Business Development at AOL’s Adap.tv; as Director/Product Management at WideOrbit, and as Director of Ad Sales Planning and Operations at Viacom’s BET.

“Oscar’s skills and experience align nicely with the direction we are moving toward at Videa,” said Videa President Shereta Williams. “We are excited to have him as part of our team, and we look forward to his contributions in helping Videa remain at the forefront of our industry.”

“Videa has leveraged its local television advertising expertise to build a truly differentiated platform,” said Rondon. “The market is ripe for an automated platform like Videa, and I’m eager to continue to work with the company on innovative solutions that help drive the market.”
