The sale of a Texas AM station and an FM translators deals have come to a conclusion.

Vision Hispana Incorporated Internacional, headed by Hector Carrizales, is the proud owner of KSOX-AM in the McAllen-Brownsville-Harlingen TX market as its acquisition from Border Media Business Trust comes to a close. Larry Patrick is the trustee running the seller and his brokerage, Patrick Communications, handled the $250K deal.

The station, licensed to Raymondville TX, is one of the rare AMs that picks up strength after the sun goes down. The 730 kHz facility pumps out 520 Watts during the day and jumps to 850 Watts at night.

Brokerage Gene Ferry and Company reported a translator closing. The sale of W249BZ Greensboro NC from Educational Media Foundation to Truth Broadcasting Corporation went in the books at $35K.
