Music-Old-RadioIn today’s collection of radio notes, Envision is offering a holiday special for free, commercial/noncom hybrid Bott is selling a Nebraska AM, a Cox Orlando Urban outlet is getting a makeover and a Liberal KS noncom is changing hands.


* In the spirit of the season, Envision Networks is offering its Steve Warren-hosted “Country Oldies Show Christmas Special” free to stations that request it. Warren will even customize it, and room is available in the recording for commercial insertion.

* KAMI-AM Cozad NE, a station in the Bott family of companies, is being sold to non-com Nebraska Rural Radio Association for $87.5K. It’ll join up with NRRA’s KRVN AM-FM Lexington NE to serve an unrated portion of the state.

* Cox Orlando Urban outlet Star 94.5 is going a bit back in time, and it now calling itself “Orlando’s Throwback Hip Hop and R&B” with a stronger focus on hits form the 90s and 00s.

* Class A 91.5 KYEH-FM of Liberal KS is going from one noncom to another for $15K. The seller is Top O Texas Educational Broadcasting Foundation, and the buyer is Libertad en Cristo Ministries.
