Music-Old-RadioConference calls, charitable activities and new product offerings are among the radio notes in today’s report.


* Friday 11/7/14 is when Saga Communications will be teeing up its quarterly conference call to discuss Q3 earnings results. The call will begin at 9:00 eastern.

* A campaign using Hispanic radio and their social media assets, and led by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, earned more than $439K toward finding a cure for childhood cancer and other maladies. Davidson Media Group earned a special mention from SJCRH.

* SiriusXM will take to the phone wires to discuss results later this month. The call is on the books for Tuesday 10/28/14 bright and early at 8:00AM eastern.

* Alpha Music Libraries has upgraded its offerings, providing 550K tracks of production music on 7.2K albums, along with the tech to find what’s needed. It’s a collaboration of Source Audio and Premiere Network
