* Sun Broadcast Group believes it has a major catch in its hiring of David Bailin as VP/Sales. He brings experience garnered at CBS, Emmis, Citadel, and most recently, Cumulus/Westwood One, and is already on the job in SBG’s New York office.
* Holiday broadcast imaging elements designed for Hispanic stations using Regional Mexican or Spanish Pop formats are now available from Envision Networks’ AudioMonky on a barter basis.
* Dave Shestokas is ready to talk Constitution, in a way understandable by those without a law degree. His program, Constitutionally Speaking, is being syndicated by America’s Talk Network.
* Easy Stop Citgo in Sarasota FL and Marathon in Fort Myers are having a sale on cleaner-burning E15 gasoline, along with a couple of other blends, and are using radio remotes to promote the offering. iHeart’s WZJZ-FM Y100 Port Charlotte and WIKX KIX Country are participating, each reaching most of the coast from Sarasota to Naples.
