Designed with the contemporary look and functionality of a clock radio, the Sanyo Internet Radio R227 can play some 10,000 internet radio stations and podcasts via the Reciva Radio platform. The radio uses either a wireless (WiFi) or Ethernet internet connection and requires no subscription.
Internet radio stations and podcasts can be easily located by Country or Genre (MP3, WMA, AAC, AIFF, RM and WAV formats supported) with eight Internet station presets. The device also boasts an FM stereo digital tuner with eight station presets. The unit has an MSRP of $169.99. It will be available in the US in January.
