We already have three frequencies (107.3, 97.1, and 99.5) that play the type of music that "Fresh" will play. We don't need a fourth. A very poor decision by CBS which will make an already bad market even worse.

Big mistake. Do you realize how many other stations play fresh crap. Classis rock stations are few and far between. May the fresh fall like the stock market. The corporates who make these big choices prove every day just how not in contact they thing they are with what the public wants. You must have worked for AIG or GM.

As a marketing professional, I can say with confidence that CBS has mis-judged the wash/baltimore radio market. Classic rockers are the demographics here that commute, listen to radio in the car (and its advertisers), and SPEND MONEY. CBS your advertisers won't like this. Wake up while you still have a shirt on your back.

Heard some of the change this morning. Ye Gods, I can't think of many in DC who'll listen to that music, spat out by an automated machine.

I am a lifelong listener of 94.7 in Washington DC. I changed the preset in my car for it this week. We do not need another pop station in DC. Goodbye 94.7

Why is it our nations capital can't have a decent radio station, but when I travel there are great stations across the US. Can't they give RNR more power so we can hear it in DC area?

Because of 103.1 in Frederick, MD and 103.1 in Culpeper, VA....if they would sell to RNR, the FCC would allow a major power increase, or trimulast RNR on their existing towers...would be nice!
It would be better if CBS Radio brought back the old HFS to DC (the one that was pre-1996)

Starting to see why radio executives are not well thought of. Why not be different? Classic Rock is needed in this area. If you wanted ratings, why not go Hispanic? Certainly will get more listeners than another clone station.

FRESH music? It's only fresh because nobody wants to hear it so it isn't played. 94.7 went from good to the Globe, and now to the same as 97.1 and 107.3
How about some real music! This new station has been removed from my radio. Thanks alot, guess we can call up XM.

I used to listen to 94.7 The Globe since it was the only station that was different from the norm. now its like my other preset channels. Lame.

The Fresh = The Fail.
