ESPN, Sirius expand relationship
Sirius Satellite Radio and ESPN announced today a multi-year extension to their current broadcast agreement, which will provide listeners with an enhanced ESPN channel. Sirius Ch. 121 will supplement its ESPNEWS programming with a new, exclusive, weekly ESPN The Magazine talk show, and exclusive simulcasts of some of ESPN’s television mainstays. Sirius will continue to broadcast ESPN Radio on ch. 120, as well as ESPN Deportes Radio on ch. 181.
ESPN The Magazine on Sirius, hosted by Gary Hoenig, GM and editor-in-chief of ESPN Publishing, and ESPN The Magazine Editor Gary Belsky, debuted yesterday (12-2 p.m. ET).
SportsCenter (6 p.m., 11 p.m. M-F), will be among the network’s television staples made available. Other ESPN television programming includes Around the Horn; College GameDay; Outside the Lines; Sports Reporters; NASCAR Now and Pardon The Interruption. Have an opinion on this article?
