Much attention has been given to Charlie Gibson anchoring his final “World News” on ABC Television this Friday. But he’s also wrapping up his radio news anchoring career as well.

At 5:02 pm ET Friday, December 18th, Gibson will end his radio career at ABC when he co-anchors his final Information Network newscast. Beginning on Monday, December 21st, Diane Sawyer, the new anchor of “World News,” will co-anchor the 5 pm ET radio newscast with Cheri Preston.

ABC News Radio is distributed by Citadel Media.
