Chris Brown begs for airplay

With a scandal in his immediate past and a faltering CD on the market, he went to a message posting internet site and asked his fans to help him get back on American radio. He said lack of airwave exposure suggests he’s not relevant.

According to MTV.com, Brown left a recorded message at SayNow.com, noting that after his well-publicized troubles with former girlfriend Rihanna, his latest album “Graffiti” was having difficulty scaring up airplay and as a result was suffering from sluggish sales.

"Hey, what's up, y'all? CB,” he said. “I ain't never really did this but right now I'm just calling ya'll, I need all of my fans' help. I need all the fans that I have, I need y'all's help. It's crazy because a lot of radio stations ... some radio stations aren't playing my records. They're not being that supportive and I wouldn't expect them to.”

He concluded, “My singing and my music is all great, but I do it for you guys and everything else but it won't be possible if I'm not relevant on the radio and it won't be possible for me to be an artist if I don't have any support from people that give me an artists outlet. I can't be an underground mixtape artist. I just want all my fans to help me. I love y'all. Peace.”

RBR-TVBR observation: Brown should go to RIAA – they’ll let him know that it’s radio that’s irrelevant, not Chris Brown. Of course, that won’t help him move any CDs, but it will be in keeping with RIAA’s misguided attack on radio.

I HOPE SOMEBODY GOES AND PROTEST Ben Roethlisberger FOR RAPING WOMEN LIKE HE'S Pepe Le Pew!!!!! and Mark McGuire too sense you missed heckling him because he left before you found out. If Ben can play then Adam “Pacman” Jones can to. They gave pacman an “Outside the Lines” report but Floyd Landis an Ben get a line across the screen. Look at the leader of 2 Superbowls for the Steeler taking Pu$$$y but Nancy Grace comes out for Tiger Woods, Chris Brown, Kobe, Vick, Kanye West and even Charles Barkley but no Roethlisberger media monster to feed!! Where is Roger Clemens’ “Game of Shadows”. You haters are funny like that. The media monster is chasing Glenn Beck’s viewers and rating. I see now. Bottom line is that if Ben can be the face of a franchise then I think Adam “Pacman” Jones can play and Vick hurt dogs but Ben rapes women!!!!!! Pacman Jone was never been charged nor has Marvin Harrison but they got the media’s guilty until guilty treatment. Just accused. As big as domestic violents was with Chris Brown and Kobe, but this guy is accused of raping two women(the media didn’t tell us about the first one until a year later?) Let me guess it just sliped your mind. Yah right. Tiger Woods cheated and people act like he raped all the women involved. (his wife and the mistresses)

He should be given a second chance. His music is his music and his private live is his private live. It is not helping someone become better if you just ruin his career. He paid for his mistakes enough. Why ban his music? This is ridiculous!

Welcome to reality Chris.
Its not about radio, its about the music and the fans. Fans aren't feeling you.

If the fans dont feel you, all your radio, management and MTV connects will never save you.
