Wyoming CPs sold conditionally

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
Steven Silberberg's White Park Broadcasting is selling a pair of Wyoming CPs which bookend the town of Rawlins WY. KXMP-FM Hanna WY, located to the east, is going to Wagonwheel Communications Corp., headed by Alan and Faith Harris, for 200K. They were also going to buy KYPT-FM Wamsutter WY, located to the west, but that station has been redirected to Martin Dirst for 50K. Both stations are Class C1s with 100 kw; KXMP is on 102.1 MHz, and KYPT is on 104.3 MHz. The contract stipulates that the deal is off if the FCC approves certain CP modifications.
