Tom Bender named SVP/GM of Greater Media Interactive
Greater Media announced Tom Bender has been named SVP/GM of Greater Media Interactive, responsible for building on the foundation in place with Greater Media's interactive efforts and for coordinating and consulting individual station efforts, as well as creating company-wide systems and resources.
Bender has been the Market Manager for the company's Detroit-based properties since 1986. He's responsible for changing the format of a failing AC station to become first "Classic Rock" format station in America, WCSX. In 1994, Bender managed the acquisition of WRIF-FM there.
