Ed Tornberg dead at 82
The Washington Post reports that New World Radio co-owner Edwin Tornberg died May 23rd of pulmonary fibrosis at his home in Potomac, MD. He and James Weitzman pioneered multilingual radio in the Washington, DC market. New World currently owns four AM stations in the Washington and Philadelphia regions.
