SupeRadio, which is owned by Access.1 Communications, has acquired “The Ed Schultz Show” from Product 1st (P1). Liberal Talker Schultz recently began airing on Access.1’s flagship, WWRL-AM New York, competing head-to-head with Rush Limbaugh in the noon-3 pm slot. Distribution and ad sales for the show will remain at Jones.

“Ed’s unique ability to present, analyze and distill the issues separates him from the pack, and makes him a compelling host who appeals not only to listeners but to advertisers as well.  With our team and the help of our ad sales partner, Jones MediaAmerica, we are committed to growing his already significant coverage, so that he can be heard in every city and town in America,” said Jack Bryant, President and COO of SupeRadio. Distribution of the show is still handled by Jones Radio Networks, with advertising sales handled by Jones MediaAmerica.

“The Ed Schultz show” had previously been syndicated by P1, owned by Randy Michaels and Stu Krane, which bought the show from Democracy Radio in 2005 (6/9/05 RBR #113).
