James Keown, age 33, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole after a jury in Massachusetts convicted him of killing his wife, Julie Oldag Keown, by putting antifreeze in her food and Gatorade. Keown had been unemployed and in debt when his wife died in 2004, with him as the beneficiary of her $250,000 life insurance policy. He had returned to Missouri, where he’d previously worked in radio news, and was arrested in 2005 while working for the Cumulus cluster in Columbia, MO.
