Price revealed in Frankfort
We did not have to wait forever to find out how much Forever Communications is paying for Clear Channel's double duopoly in the unrated Frankfort KY market. Forever, headed by radio veterans Kerby Confer, Donald Alt and Christine Hillard, will get the quartet for 850K cash. Three of the stations are licensed to the Kentucky capital, WFKY-AM, WKED-FM & WKYW-FM. The fourth station, WCND-AM, is licensed to Shelbyville KY and is technically a part of the Louisville market. It poses no cap problems, though, since none of Forever's other stations makes a home there.
