Metro Traffic reups with Radio One
Metro Traffic announced a multi-year agreement with Radio One to be the exclusive traffic content partner for Radio One stations. In addition to Traffic content, Metro Traffic will also provide news and weather information to Radio One’s 52 stations in 16 markets including: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, Richmond, St. Louis and Washington, DC.
“Metro Traffic has been a valuable partner in providing the most current traffic, news and weather on a daily basis to our listeners,” said Barry Mayo, President of the Radio Division for Radio One. “That’s why it was an easy decision for us to extend our agreement for another two years.”
“We are thrilled to renew our distribution partnership with Radio One,” said Fred Bennett, EVP of Affiliate Sales for Metro Traffic. “We have had a long-standing, successful partnership with Radio One”, said Bennett. “They are leaders in their markets, and a forward-thinking distribution partner for Metro Traffic. We are proud to be their exclusive traffic content provider.”
