iBiquity Digital details latest aftermarket, auto rollouts
Following developments for HD Radio Technology earlier this year with a number of automakers expanding their commitment to digital radio, momentum continues to build into the second half with broader expansion in product offerings and in new vehicles. Major automotive aftermarket device manufacturers are featuring HD Radio technology as a core integrated offering across their product portfolios.
Increased adoption from brand leaders such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Clarion, Dual and Jensen confirms the advantages HD Radio Technology offers to the competitive aftermarket category. The technology delivers digital AM/FM performance and exclusive services like program service data, additional HD2/HD3 channels, iTunes Tagging, real-time traffic and location-based concierge information, among others.
Boasting iTunes Tagging capability and state-of-the-art multimedia functions, JVC and Jensen Mobile are currently offering three new receivers that feature HD Radio Technology:

With the integration of HD Radio Technology and the Total Traffic HD Network, this powerful in-dash double DIN unit offers highly desirable real time traffic and navigation services. And, with the push of a button found on the 6.1-inch touch panel monitor, users will be able to "tag" their favorite HD Radio songs with the iTunes Tagging feature. Jensen Mobile VM9314 – The VM9314 is a single DIN multimedia system featuring a 7-inch high definition touch screen with voice control for iPod/iPhone users.
