Jeff Hoffman lands at WTKR Norfolk

There’s nothing Jeff Hoffman likes more than winning.  That made him Local TV CEO Bobby Lawrence’s number one pick to lead the company’s “Take Norfolk Back!” offensive.  Hoffman, a 15-year television news, management and ratings vet, heads to the East Coast naval base from industry stints all over the country, most recently in Huntsville. Taking the helm at WTKR, however, has him fired up.  He’s ready for a good fight.

“WTKR is a heritage CBS station in a vibrant, ‘All American City’,” says Hoffman.  “It was at the top of the Norfolk, Virginia DMA for many years, and we will get it there again.  I’ve got a simple plan.  It’s not easy, but it’s simple.  I can’t wait to get started.”
