Alpha Broadcasting’s KXFD-AM/Freedom 970 Portland, OR announced the addition of Imus in the Morning to its weekday lineup effective 10/4, 5-9am.   Broadcasting from flagship WABC in New York, Imus in the Morning is now heard on over 75 affiliates.

Imus will be followed by Laura Ingraham (9am-noon); Sean Hannity (noon-3pm); Mark Levin (3-6pm); Jerry Doyle (6-9pm) and Phil Hendrie (9pm-midnight).

“I’ve been a fan of Don Imus for years and am thrilled to put him on the air in Portland,” commented Brian Jennings, Director of Talk Programming for Alpha Broadcasting.  “He is a truly talented broadcaster, not afraid to say what’s on his mind no matter who is sitting across the table.  This is what talk radio is all about and we’ve got an amazing line-up on Freedom 970 with the addition of Imus in the Morning.”
